Remodel

For all of you who have been asking for updated pictures of our remodel, here you go!  It's coming along pretty fast.  We are having our cabinets installed today and then things should really fly.  It's been a lot of work, but hopefully it will help us sell our cute little condo!

Let's Give Thanks

We all have so much to be thankful for.  I love this time of year when we make the time to appreciate what we are blessed with.  I am so grateful for the wonderful family, friends and husband that I have. I'm thankful that Steven and I both have good jobs that provide a good life for us.  I'm grateful for the gospel to be such a big part of my life and the lifestyle that it teaches us to live.  As I've gotten older I've realized that family and friends truly are the things that matter most to me.  As long as they are around things will all work out. 

Today my heart aches for Mitt Romney.   I feel like as he was campaigning I grew to love, respect and honor this man.  I believe that he would have done wonders for our country and really would have helped turn things around.  Here's to another four years.  I pray that God will bless our country and its leaders.

Birds

Today I came home from work and noticed that our AC unit wasn't working. When Steve bought a new one and took the old one out we found these little guys (and all of their belongings) hiding.

Olympics!

My favorite two weeks out of every two years!

Pretty sure I cried when Michael Phelps had his final swim and interview.

Watching gymnastics is my favorite, but I make myself sick hoping they don't get hurt.

I love watching our country have so much spirit.

I also love watching the world come together and cheer each other on.

Next summer olympics Steven will be performing in....Stroller Dancing!  Can't wait.

For our wedding present Steve's sister and her husband gave us half a cow worth of meat. We picked up the rest from the freezer we were storing it in tonight.... Let's just say we still have a lot of hamburgers coming our way!

The Big Day!

My BFF got married yesterday, and it was absolutely beautiful. She looked gorgeous in her dress. The sealing was so amazing with such a sweet spirit. I'm so excited for Ashley and Derek! They looked the happiest I've ever seen them.

1- I always bit my nails until I got engaged. 2- Spiders scare me more than almost anything. 3- When I use to go to the grocery store with my mom I would always sniff the gum packs in line. 4- When I was young I hated red hair.... And now I love it. 5- I had my mission papers all filled out and ready to go in when I met my husband. 6- I had over 100 pairs of shoes until Steve made me get rid of some. 7- Until I was about 17 my dream job was being a Harley Davidson mechanic. 8- I could watch biggest loser episodes all day long. 9- My favorite color has ALWAYS been orange. 10- I snap my fingers with every step I take unless I am making an effort not to. Weird.

Steve's sister had her baby early Monday morning so that night we wet up to Logan to visit. She was probably one of the cutest, most cuddly babies I've ever seen! We are so excited to have a new niece.

So for Christmas this year Steve planned a date for each month and decorated a Justin Bieber calendar to explain the date. Well today marks the first day of March and JB's birthday so I thought I would share this lovely number. Haha we will be dropping by every 7-11 from south temple to 123 south with our friends Brad and Stephanie. My husband rocks.
